Digital Currencies and Monetary Policy Consultant Trainer at Indepth Research Services (IRES)

We are seeking a Digital Currencies and Monetary Policy Consultant Trainer to design and deliver training on the impact of digital currencies (including CBDCs and cryptocurrencies) on monetary policy and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update training modules on digital currencies, blockchain technology, and their policy implications.
• Deliver training to financial sector professionals, regulators, and policymakers.
• Provide practical case studies and exercises on regulatory frameworks and policy analysis.
• Guide participants in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and innovation strategies.
• Integrate the latest global and local trends in digital finance into training content.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve methodologies.
• Support organizations in navigating the evolving landscape of digital currencies.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Digital Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital finance, monetary policy, or fintech.
• Experience in professional training or capacity building.
• Strong knowledge of CBK regulations and Kenya’s fintech ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and research skills.
