    Digital Design & Marketing Officer

    PURPOSE:

    The role is responsible for planning and executing digital marketing communication and campaigns. It encompasses application of graphic design and digital marketing techniques and tools to conceptualize and design creatives/visuals for both digital and traditional marketing collateral as well as implementing, tracking and optimizing our digital campaigns across all digital channels. Our ideal candidate is highly creative with strong analytical skills and experience in both graphic design and digital marketing.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Digital Design & Marketing Officer, you will be part of the Bank’s Marketing team and you will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and shall be responsible for:

    Graphic Design

    • Use software and design tools to create online content, artwork, social media graphics to produce on-brand campaigns that match the bank’s aesthetic and brand guidelines.
    • Ensure consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge of design software programs (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements, prepare rough drafts and present ideas, develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software and designing content for banks Social Media channels and adhoc requests for marketing (Posters, brochures, billboards etc.).
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Digital Marketing

    • Conceptualizing and executing the company’s digital marketing campaigns, including web, e-mail, and social media advertising.
    • Measure, assess and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
    • Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance.
    • Collaborate with in-house team to plan and align product and campaign launch dates.
    • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
    • Set-up and optimizing Google Ad, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter campaigns.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
    • Proficient with web and e-mail platforms (e.g., WordPress, SendGrid).

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

    Academic Qualifications

    • Design degree or any other relevant course/ qualification in design studies and digital marketing.

    Professional Qualifications

    • Relevant professional qualifications and membership where applicable.

    Experience

    • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in creative graphic design and management of digital campaigns for a reputable brand.
    • Understanding of current design and digital market insights and trends.
    • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
    • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.

    Generic Competencies

    • Knowledge of services in financial services industry is an added advantage.
    • Awareness of current design and digital marketing insights and trends.

    • A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills.
    • Ability to adapt to fast paced environments and meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast paced, and high-pressure organizations.
