    Director of Finance and Administration

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the project’s operations from a finance and administration perspective.
    • Ensure that project operations are in compliance with donor and PATH policies and procedures.
    • Provide oversight on the procurement, logistics, human resources, accounting, finance, and records functions.
    • Provide ongoing financial management to the project, including the processing of approvals for procurements, sub awards and vendor invoices.
    • Manage the project budget and prepare financial reports for submission to USAID.
    • Fashion and implement fraud mitigation practices and ensure that the systems and processes are implemented effectively to support implementation of the project.

    Required Skills

    • A Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field relevant to the position requirements.
    • At least eight years of experience in financial and administrative management for large complex projects, of which at least five years were working in the field of international development.
    • Experience interacting with donor agencies including central and local government, development partners, and civil society and community‐based organizations.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in working collaboratively with other donors, host country institutions, and international organizations.
    • Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and result‐oriented skills.
    • Professional level of fluency in oral and written in English language required.
    • Knowledge of labor laws.
    • Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, and work under strict deadlines.
    • High standards of integrity
