    Driver (3 Positions)

    Summary

    The Nursing Council  of Kenya wishes to recruit highly competent, passionate, dedicated and self-driven individuals to fill the following vacant position(s): NCK Driver – 3 Positions

    Terms and Remuneration

    • Terms of Service – Permanent and Pensionable
    • Salary: from KES. 43,908 – 53,445 per month

    Job specifications

    Duties and responsibilities entail:

    • Driving a motor-vehicle as authorized;
    • Carrying out minor mechanical repairs;
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;
    • Keeping up to date work tickets for vehicles;
    • Cleaning of the assigned motor vehicle;
    • Submitting regular reports on motor vehicle assigned;
    • Reporting any mechanical/accident problems;
    • Maintaining daily work ticket;
    • Management of the fuel card; and
    • Carrying out minor vehicle mechanical works.

    Person specifications

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

    • Four (4) years relevant experience;
    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
    • The Occupational Trade Test II Certificate;
    • Valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to drive;
    • Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable after two (2) years);
    • First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution;
    • An accident-free driving period of 3 years; and
    • Meet requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution

    • Police Clearance Certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI);
    • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance/Compliance Certificate;
    • A Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
    • Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) i.e. Completed First Schedule (s.13) and a self-declaration form; and
    • A Clearance Certificate from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) in Kenya.
