    Senior Office Administrator

    Terms and Remuneration

    Duties and responsibilities entail:

    • Supporting the conducting of Council meetings;
    • Preparing invitations to committee members and follow-ups;
    • Making travel arrangements for the Council and Registrar/CEO;
    • Event Management Coordination;
    • Correspondence management;

    Job specifications

    Duties and responsibilities entail:

    • Infrastructure and Communications
    • Implementing ICT policies, procedures and controls programmes;
    • Providing technical support for the ICT infrastructure and telephony systems including hardware, software support and help desk services;
    • Initiating the design and review of ICT architecture, networks including documenting internal ICT standards, policies and procedures;
    • Implementing ICT standards in line with the emerging needs of the Council;
    • Implementing security penetration testing, disaster recovery and business continuity simulations;

    Education

    Duties and responsibilities entail:

    • Implementing the nursing education, examination & registration policy and guidelines;
    • Implementing the developed and/or reviewed nursing/midwifery training materials;
    • Facilitating study/review processes for education materials/documents;
    • Preparing and submitting reports;
    • Conducting compliance audit regarding curriculum implementation in training institutions;
    • Facilitating training needs assessment and advising regarding emerging programs;
    • Monitoring compliance to indexing requirements, indexing period, preparing and submitting reports;
    • Supporting indexing administrators in nurse training institutions through conducting training and consultations;

    • Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya;
    • Membership to a professional body in good standing;
    • Curriculum Development Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
