Driver - 8 Posts at Lake Victoria North Water Services Board

Minimum Qualifications

• KCSE D (Plain) or its equivalent;
• Four (4) years relevant work experience;
• Valid Driving License free from any endorsements with two (2) years proven driving experience.
• First-Aid Certificate Course.
• Certificate of good conduct
• Proficiency in Computer Applications.

Roles and Responsibility

• Drive the Project vehicles and execute the task as assigned and driving vehicles as authorized;
• Carrying out routine checks on the vehicles;
• Detecting and report malfunctioning of vehicles system;
• Maintaining records of vehicles;
• Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle;
• Overseeing safety of the passengers and or goods therein;
• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Ensuring adherence to or observations of traffic laws
• Reporting any incidents to police and/or the office immediately they occur.
• Ensure that the vehicles are serviced as scheduled.
• Ensure that the organization vehicle is only used for official/authorized activities.
• Maintain the vehicle work tickets and fuel cards for accountability.
• Ensure the security of the vehicle and any passengers or goods within it.
• Uphold all local and national safety regulations and Agency policies.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding delivery progress or any issues encountered.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on the vehicle.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned by a supervisor to support project operations.
• Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
