EDGE Auditor Services Consultant at Habitat for Humanity International

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review of designs and documentation prior to submission.
• Provide guidance on EDGE compliance gaps (if any) and recommend actions to meet certification thresholds, liaison with HFHI’s inhouse EDGE Expert.
• Perform design audit and submit audit findings to Sintali.
• Conduct construction (site) audit upon project completion and submit final verification report.
• Liaise with HFH, the design team, and the certifier to respond to queries and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.

Deliverables

• Reviewed and validated EDGE design model with feedback and recommendations.
• Completed design audit report submitted to certifier.
• Site visit report and construction audit report.
• Final EDGE audit certification package submitted to the certifier.
• Duration: 7months starting from June 2025 to Dec 2025, covering design and construction phases
• Consultancy Management: This assignment will be managed by the Construction Practices Manager with support from MEAL Manager.

Key qualifications.

• Certified EDGE Auditor accredited by Sintali or GBCI.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting EDGE audits for residential buildings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable construction practices focusing on water, material and energy efficiencies.
• Previous experience working on low-cost housing projects will be an added advantage
