Electrical Technician at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical problems and perform effective troubleshooting to repair or replace damaged units and components.
• Inspect electrical equipment and circuits regularly to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, or old wiring requiring replacement.
• Execute wiring plans for lighting, internet connectivity, distribution boards, switches, LV panels, and alarm systems according to technical standards.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines to maintain operational efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
• Communicate breakdown occurrences and resource/material requirements to the supervisor during shifts.
• Safely operate, use, and maintain assigned tools and equipment while adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation (Preferred), Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or process plant environment (experience in a food processing plant or similar setting is an added advantage).
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to breakdowns when called upon.
