Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-

• A Certificate or Diploma in any of the following disciplines:
  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
  • Emergency Medical Technology
  • Pre-Hospital Care
  • Paramedicine
• Or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• A valid EMT certification or training recognized in Kenya.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized institution.
• A valid practicing licence where applicable.
• A valid Class BCE driving licence with Public Service Vehicle (PSV) endorsement may be required for ambulance operator roles.
• Computer application skills.
• Good communication, teamwork and emergency response skills.
