Enumerator Job description

• Administer surveys in selected households with children aged 6-59 months using SurveyCTO.
• Complete scheduled activities each day promptly, clearly communicating how many interviews have been completed so the team management can monitor progress.
• Demonstrate high integrity and understanding during interactions with respondents.
• Strictly follow the study and ethical protocols.
• Maintain regular communication with the supervisor to report any observations and problems.
• Carry out any other tasks the IDinsight Associate/Field Manager/Supervisor may assign you.
• Document any additional information and/or observation relevant to the study while conducting fieldwork.

Qualifications and other requirements

• Must be a holder of at least a Diploma from a recognized tertiary learning institution, with at least one year of experience in research and survey data collection.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Kiswahili, and other applicable local languages.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Candidates currently living in Kilifi County or with access to their own accommodation in Kilifi will be prioritised.
• Candidates that own a well-functioning smartphone or a tablet will be prioritised. 
• Previous experience in quantitative data collection using SurveyCTO, Kobo Collect, or similar data collection tools is desirable.
• Must have an open bank account.
