Environmental, Health and Safety Officer at Techminds Technologies Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety, health, and environmental policies and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
• Carry out site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit necessary safety reports and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to KPLC security guidelines and regulations, particularly in solar and high voltage power projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Certification in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in an EHS role, specifically in solar and high voltage power projects.
• Strong understanding of KPLC security guidelines and electrical safety protocols.
• Spearhead health and safety in projects relating to Base Transmission Stations (BTS).
• Experience or understanding of the telecommunication industry (fiber rollout) is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
