Job Specification

This is the entry grade for this cadre. A staff at this level will work under the direct supervision of a Senior Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the budget making process and during revision of the same
• Checking the Vote Book and ensure budgetary controls are in place
• Ensures safe custody of accountable documents
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual management reports;
• Review vote book entries and undertake monthly variance analysis;
• Conduct below the line analysis accounts;
•  Assist in the budget and revised budget preparation as per work plan

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have at least: -

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Management (Finance option) or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
• Minimum KCSE C+ (plus) or its equivalent
• Proficiency in computer applications and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
