Role Description

• The Financial Advisor role at Prudential Kenya is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya. In this role, the advisor provides personalized financial guidance to clients, including assessing their needs, setting financial goals, and recommending suitable insurance, investment, and retirement planning solutions.
• Day-to-day tasks include meeting clients, conducting financial analyses, preparing and presenting proposals, and maintaining ongoing relationships to ensure clients’ plans remain aligned with their life changes and market conditions.
• The advisor also tracks performance of recommended products, keeps accurate records, and adheres to regulatory and company compliance standards. Collaboration with internal teams, participation in training programs, and proactive business development activities are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and design comprehensive solutions.
• Solid understanding of Finance and Investments to explain products clearly and support informed decision-making.
• Knowledge of Retirement Planning to help clients plan for long-term income security and protection.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management abilities.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to regulatory and company compliance.
• Ability to work with targets, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client engagements.
• Proficiency in basic office software and comfort with digital tools for client management and reporting.
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in financial planning or advisory are an added advantage.
