Financial Controller at Ramco Group

We are looking for a results-driven and confident Financial Controller for one of our companies to direct our accounting operations and undertake all aspects of financial management, which include but not limited to corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Develop budgets and financial plans for company in liason with the CEO and monitor the same
2. Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
3. Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
4. Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
5. Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
6. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
7. Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
8. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
9. Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
10. Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations

Requirements

1. Advanced degree in Accounting.
2. Proven experience in finance management, preferably as a Financial Controller
3. 7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting fundamentals and principles
5. CA or CPA preferred
6. Experience with creating financial statements
7. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
8. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree in any of the following fields: Business Administration , Human Resource Management
• Holder of a Higher Diploma in Human resource management
• A minimum of five (5) years practicing human resource  management with at least three  (3) years in a senior management position / manager in a large reputable manufacturing organization with exposure to human resource labour laws
• Hands on experience and  exposure to health and safety ,performance management and industrial relations
• Have well developed communication, interpersonal and  delegation skills with strong motivational, mentorship and team building approaches.
• Knowledge and understanding of current best human resource practices in human resource  management with wide experience in formulation & implementation and evaluation  of Human resource policies.
• Proficiency in human resource management information systems is a must.
• Excellent ability to explain complicated technical human resource aspects in a clear, correct and concise manner to non-technical users.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to share relevant information with other team members.
• Must have strong personality,enthuthiastic, excellent people skills, resourceful and be result oriented.
• Very strong industrial relations skills
