    Food and Beverage Manager

    • We are recruiting an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead operations for a premium restaurant and club. The ideal candidate excels in hospitality leadership, operational discipline, financial management, and compliance with Kenyan regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily F&B operations, service quality, and guest experience.
    • Lead, train, and manage front-of-house and bar teams.
    • Develop and implement F&B service standards, SOPs, and shift structures.
    • Ensure compliance with all hospitality regulations including:
    • Health and safety (OSHA and DOSH)
    • Food handling standards
    • Liquor licensing requirements
    • Fire safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols
    • Staff licensing and operational permits
    • Manage inventory, supplier relationships, stock controls, and wastage reduction.
    • Design and monitor budgets, cost of sales, and revenue targets.
    • Drive events, promotions, and service innovation to optimize customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee cash handling, reconciliation, and accountability processes.
    • Maintain a safe, disciplined, and professional work environment.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant, club, or hotel F&B management.
    • Deep knowledge of bar operations, menu engineering, and service flow.
    • Proven ability to manage large teams in a high-traffic environment.
    • Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
    • Familiar with operational audits, licensing renewals, and statutory compliance.
    • Skilled in conflict resolution, guest relations, and crisis management.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and hands-on decision-making ability.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience handling P&L responsibility.
    • Ability to work late-night shifts, weekends, and peak seasons.
