Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructor/tutor to join our team at Kenyaplex Institute of Technology. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of training programs for students enrolled in our food and beverage production, sales, and service management program. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and design comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, quizzes, and assessments, that meet the specific requirements of the food and beverage production, sales, and service management program.
2. Deliver engaging training sessions to students in a classroom setting, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and maximize student engagement.
3. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed to ensure their success in the program.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and trends, continually updating training materials and methods to ensure they remain current and relevant.
5. Collaborate with fellow instructors and department heads to align training with program goals and objectives, promoting a cohesive learning experience for students.
6. Attend departmental and institutional meetings as required to contribute to the overall development and improvement of the training program.

Qualifications:

1. A Diploma in Food and Beverage Production, Sales and Service Management, or a related field such as Diploma in Catering and Accommodation Management.
2. Practical experience in food and beverage production, sales, and service management, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry practices and standards.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
4. Strong instructional design abilities, with the capacity to develop and deliver engaging and effective training materials.
5. In-depth knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in food and beverage production, sales, and service management.
6. Exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient program delivery.
