    Fuel Data Officer Intern

    Brief Description        

    • The Fuel Data Officer intern will be tasked with the development and delivery of fuel initiatives and cost reductions activities around Jet Fuel Consumption in the organization. Additionally, they will be engaged in activities that seek to improve Data and Information availability to assist the organization develop strategy around Jet Fuel Consumption in the organization.

    Detailed Description        

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in maintaining a database for all aircraft fuel burn.
    • Collect fuel initiatives data, develop trends and advise on areas of improvement.
    • Assist in coordinating with Fuel suppliers to ensure service delivery on time.
    • Assist in continuously developing database on aircraft fuel consumption and providing statistical analysis in order to reduce KQ’s operational cost.
    • Assist in environmental and sustainability projects around fuel in the organization.
    • Assist in any other duties that may occur from time to time.

    Job Requirements        

    Minimum Qualifications

    •  Fluent in written and spoken English.
    •  Demonstrate knowledge of Jet Fuel Operations, Flight Planning Procedures and Flight Data Analysis.
    •  Proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
    • Jet Fuel Industry and Market Knowledge.

    Minimum Years of Experience 

    • At least B plain in KCSE.
    • At least 6 months of Flight Dispatch Planning and Operations.
    • Jet Fuel Contracting, Pricing and Operations as an added advantage.
