Fullstack (PHP) Software Engineer at Moringa School

Key Responsibilities

• Extend Laravel-based modules for student profiles, academics, and support systems.
• Develop synchronization services between Salesforce, Moodle, and My Moringa and Payment Portals.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for cross-system integrations.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Implement background jobs, queues, and observers for real-time sync.
• Write unit/integration tests for reliability.
• Participate in architecture planning and modular deployment

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Laravel 9+ and API design.
• Frontend development, including translation of UI/UX designs into responsive user-facing interfaces.
• Knowledge of JavaScript e.g. React, VueJS, etc.
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks e.g. TailwindCSS, Bootstrap, etc.
• Strong MySQL/PostgreSQL knowledge.
• Experience integrating with CRMs e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, etc.
• Familiarity with Redis, Horizon, and background job monitoring.
• Experience with authentication (SSO, OAuth2) and RBAC.
• CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab Actions) and Docker.
