The Digital Content - NBA Africa & BAL Future Pro supports digital publishing, social media management, and content production. Responsibilities include creating and curating engaging online content, managing social media platforms, drafting interview questions, and assisting during content shoots to ensure smooth execution. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align content with brand messaging and campaign goals. Strong communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Major Responsibilities
Content Creation and Publishing

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Support the development of digital assets including graphics, short-form videos, and written posts.
• Maintain and update content calendars and publishing schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Collaboration and Planning

• Work closely with internal teams to understand content needs and contribute to content planning and strategy.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and assist in aligning content with campaign goals and brand messaging.

Media Production Support

• Capture photo and video content for use across digital and social channels.
• Draft interview questions and support pre-production planning for media content.
• Assist during media shoots and content recording sessions, including setup, equipment handling, and logistics coordination.

Community Engagement

• Monitor social media channels for audience engagement and feedback.
• Respond to comments and messages where appropriate and escalate inquiries to relevant teams.

Content Management and Innovation

• Organize and maintain digital asset libraries and content archives.
• Stay informed on digital trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to contribute fresh ideas and insights.

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Fluency in French and English (mandatory)
• Proven experience and a solid understanding of digital content creation and social media management
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital publishing tools
• Enthusiasm for digital content, media production, and social media trends
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Experience Needed

• 2 years of postgraduate work experience in assisting or leading content production, storytelling, social media content and WordPress or other website platforms

Educational Background Required

• Higher education institution (vocational school, professional degree, university degree, or master's degree) in Communications, Media, content production, or a related field
