Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills):
Academic Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in any of the following fields - Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• First level university degree in the of the in any of the following discipline from an accredited University/College - Human Resource Management, Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Finance, Economics, Business Management/Administration, Public Administration or equivalent qualification combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies:

• Undertaken Leadership/Management course from a recognized institution.
• Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable.
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Previous relevant work experience required:

• A minimum period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience five (5) of which should be in a senior management level.
• Experience in managing corporate services in a shipbuilding industry will be an added advantage.
