General Manager at Kimisitu Investment Company Limited - KICL

Job Purpose

The General Manager reports to the Board Chairman and Board of Directors, providing overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational governance to drive company profitability, market expansion, and sustainable shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of long-term strategic plans and annual operating budgets.
• Monitor and evaluate company financial performance, revenue streams, and investment portfolios.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, management team, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee human resource development, operational policies, risk mitigation, and corporate governance compliance.
• Drive marketing strategies, brand positioning, and high-value strategic partnerships.
• Serve as the principal spokesperson and representative of Kimisitu Investment PLC.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Land Economics, or related field.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or relevant post-graduate qualification is an added advantage.
• Active membership in a recognized professional body in Kenya.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in senior executive leadership.
