Graphic Design Consultant at CorpsAfrica

Overview of the Project:

• CorpsAfrica seeks an experienced Graphic Design Consultant to develop two visually compelling presentations that will strengthen the organization's fundraising, partnership, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
• The consultant will transform content provided by CorpsAfrica into polished, professional presentations that effectively communicate the organization's mission, impact, and opportunities for engagement. While CorpsAfrica will provide the core content and messaging, the consultant is expected to recommend improvements to layout, flow, and presentation of information to maximize clarity, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Both presentations will be developed in Canva and delivered as fully editable files.

Scope of Work: 

The consultant will:

Design two professional presentations in Canva: 

• A partnership pitch deck designed to support meetings with prospective corporate, foundation, institutional, and strategic partners. 
• A general CorpsAfrica presentation that can be adapted for a variety of audiences, including donors, foundations, government officials, ambassadors, corporate leaders, conference presentations, and other high-level stakeholders. 
• Design presentations of approximately 10–15 slides each, recognizing that the final number of slides may vary based on content needs. 
• Develop clean, modern, visually compelling layouts that align with CorpsAfrica's brand identity. 
• Create graphics, icons, infographics, charts, and other visual elements that enhance storytelling and simplify complex information. 
• Recommend improvements to the organization, presentation, and visual communication of content where appropriate. 
• Suggest minor copy edits or refinements that improve readability, flow, and audience engagement while preserving CorpsAfrica's intended messaging. 
• Apply CorpsAfrica's brand guidelines, fonts, colors, photography, and logo throughout both presentations. 
• Deliver presentations suitable for executive-level audiences. 
• Participate in review meetings as needed. 
• Incorporate at least three rounds of revisions for each presentation.

Deliverables: 

The consultant will provide:

• One professionally designed Partnership Pitch Deck 
• One professionally designed General CorpsAfrica Presentation 
• Fully editable Canva files 
• PDF versions of both presentations 
• Any custom graphics or visual assets created for the project 

Materials provided by CorpsAfrica: 

CorpsAfrica will provide:

• Draft presentation content 
• Brand guidelines 
• Logos 
• Photography and existing visual assets 
• Existing communications materials for reference 

Consultant Qualifications: 

The ideal consultant will have:

• Demonstrated experience designing high-quality presentations for nonprofit organizations, foundations, corporations, international organizations, or social impact initiatives. 
• Advanced proficiency in Canva. 
• Strong graphic design, typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills. 
• Experience creating presentations for fundraising, partnership development, executive leadership, or board audiences. 
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual communications. 
• Strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills. 
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness. 
• Experience with copywriting or communications is strongly preferred, with the ability to recommend edits that improve the clarity, flow, and effectiveness of presentation content. 

Timeline: 

• Expected Project Period: Between August 10 – September 4, 2026 
• Following receipt of all content and the kickoff, the consultant will have 5 business days to complete the initial design of each presentation, with the General CorpsAfrica presentation being designed first. CorpsAfrica will provide feedback, after which the consultant will complete revisions according to the agreed-upon schedule within the overall project period.

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Overall quality of portfolio 
• Creativity and visual storytelling ability 
• Experience designing presentations for executive, donor, or partner audiences 
• Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations 
• Copywriting and communications experience 
• Responsiveness and ability to meet deadlines 

Ownership: 

• All final presentations, source files, Canva files, and any graphics created under this agreement shall become the property of CorpsAfrica upon payment. The consultant may include the completed work in a professional portfolio upon the request and approval by CorpsAfrica.

Proposal Requirements: 

Interested consultants should submit:

• A brief statement describing relevant experience. 
• Project fee (in U.S. dollars).
• Four examples of presentation or pitch deck designs.
• Five additional graphic design samples demonstrating a range of work, such as annual reports, branding or visual identity materials, newsletters, brochures, social media graphics, or other communications materials.
• References to two current or former clients in which the consultant has completed design work within the last 12 months. The reference list should include the contact’s name, title, organization, phone number, email, and sample of work completed (either as a pdf or link).
• Please combine your work samples with your resume into a single document, or include a link where all your work samples can be viewed in the Resume or cover letter.
