Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibility Under the supervision of the Head of Production, the incumbent will design and layout the publications, collaterals, and branding materials for the World Cities Report 2024.
• Expected Outputs and Deliverables: The list of deliverables includes the design and layout of the World Cities Report 2024 and various collaterals included below:
• Design and layout of 5 chapters of the World Cities Report including from matter.
• Design of the key message booklet, postcard, executive summary, and other collaterals for the report in English.
• Layout of the key message booklet, executive summary, and other collaterals for the report in Arabic and other UN languages.

Qualifications/special skills

• Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, graphic design, or related field is required.
• 5 years of relevant experience in graphic design including print, exhibition, mobile, web and data visualization is required.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as 3D software such as SketchUp is required.
• Ability to produce appealing visuals from complex data is desirable.
• Detail-oriented, creative, ability to multi-task and work efficiently under tight deadlines is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment is desirable.
