Head of HR - East & Southern Africa at Upfield

About The Position

• You’ll be part of the wider local and global HR community, reporting directly to our People & Org Regional Director for AMEA. You will have a large HR support system that will support you with expertise in payroll, recruitment, reward & benefits and talent management.
• Key deliverables include shaping and owning the People Agenda to deliver the 2024 People plan across Talent, Organization, Skills, Capabilities, Performance, Labor Strategy and Culture.
• Your role will be responsible for the implementation of HR programmes and strategies across our countries. You will identify and analyze business and people issues making a difference to the performance and success of the region.
• You demonstrate credibility by building strong relationships with the leadership team fast and the wider HR community.
• A perfect mix between operations and strategy!

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

• You have several years of experience as a HR Leader, you are familiar with the local labour law, have supported Supply Chain and Sales teams, people initiatives, have the ability to match business requirements with HR services.
• You gained your experience in a fast-paced international environment and thanks to your great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills you feel comfortable juggling multiple topics in a matrix structure and cross-functional networks.
• Effective organization is in your blood, you’re hands-on and solution oriented. You have a strong ownership mindset and proactively taking initiative your focus is always on supporting people.
