    Hospital Administrator

    Job Details

    1. Responsible for the daily operation of the Hospice by ensuring that the staff, facilities, schedules and flow of work is optimally carried out;
    2. Promotes and maintains effective public relations with government, patients, relatives, suppliers,community and individuals;
    3. Responsible for developing and directing the implementation of policies and programs in the Hospice;
    4. Acts as chief advisor to the CEO in development and implementation of Hospice’s programs,policies and procedures;
    5. Ensures availability of transport (ambulances, utility vehicle) in the hospice;
    6. Upkeep of Hospice infrastructure, equipment, assets, vehicles, legal documents and ensuring availability when required;
    7. Ensure that the hospice runs efficiently and delivers quality patient care;
    8. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board.
    9. Participates in the budgeting of the Hospice activities to ensure proper financial management and internal controls;
    10. Responsible for the supervision of all the hospice employees;
    11. Spearheads culture change to improve the Hospice image;
    12. Responsible for excellent upkeep of sanitation of hospital for a clean and amiable environment;
    13. Spearhead the implementation of the Hospice annual strategic plans;
    14. Oversees accurate and timely management of the hospice asset and inventory register;
    15. Develops and ensures implementation of the Service contract agreements for all hospice machines and equipment etc;
    16. Secretary to the Hospital Management team and any other senior management committees;
    17. Ensures that there is full compliance with the existing statutory requirements/ regulations and that all the necessary licenses are obtained in time;
    18. Resolve any conflicts that might arise from the Hospice operations;
    19. Should stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations;
    20. Oversee quality improvement of processes for efficient delivery of services in the hospice.
    21. Any other duties that may be allocated by the CEO
