Human Resource and Operations Manager at Nakuru Industries Limited

A well-established manufacturing company based in Nakuru is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR & Operations Manager to oversee its human resources function and support day-to-day factory operations.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in HR and/or operations, preferably within a manufacturing, textile or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment and labour laws, Wage Orders and statutory requirements
• Experience managing payroll, attendance, leave, contracts, recruitment and employee records
• Strong experience handling disciplinary matters, grievances, terminations and employee relations
• Ability to oversee staff deployment, shift planning, absenteeism and workforce productivity
• Work closely with production supervisors to monitor daily output, efficiency, downtime and operational issues
• Help implement SOPs, workplace discipline, health & safety and general factory compliance
• Strong problem-solving ability with a practical, hands-on approach to factory operations
• Ability to prepare clear management reports and follow up on agreed actions
• Relevant HR/business/management qualification; HR professional qualifications are an advantage
