Human Resources Associate at CLASP

Job Purpose

• As an Associate HR at CLASP, you’ll play a crucial role in providing HR support and guidance to our team in Kenya and potentially other locations. Your responsibilities will include acting as a HR generalist, partnering with employees to address their needs, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the HR department. This requires:

HR Expertise: Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

• Employee Relations: Ability to build effective relationships and provide guidance to employees.
• Operational Efficiency: Experience in running HR daily functions and managing routine tasks effectively.
• Vendor Management: Skill in liaising with external vendors for HR-related services.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of relevant HR experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including recruitment, performance management, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, employment laws etc.
• Preference for those with education or experience in Kenya labor law
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Seeks to build long term relationships. Can practice discretion and can maintain confidentiality as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with automated payroll and HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
