Information Security Manager at Middle East Bank Kenya Ltd

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Security Manager located in Nairobi. The Information Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing information security programs, developing and implementing security policies, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with information security standards. The role involves continuously monitoring the organization's networks for security breaches, managing security incidents, and responding to threats in a timely manner. Additionally, the Information Security Manager will coordinate with other departments to ensure that security measures are understood and followed, provide training to staff on information security practices, and stay current with emerging security trends and threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in Information Security Management, Information Security Management System (ISMS), and Information Security
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Network Security
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred
