Inventory Clerk at Yatta Beekeepers

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. The role is based in Juja, Kenya and involves managing raw materials, tracking inventory, booking production orders, and overseeing inventory control processes for our wood-based products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor raw materials and finished product inventory.
• Book production orders and track work orders for efficiency and speed.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and stock-taking activities.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
• Maintain reorder levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Utilize the company's accounting system for inventory management.
• Ensure proper documentation and inventory records.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certificate in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in inventory control, stock management, and reconciliation.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and physical inventory processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, including inventory management systems is a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Previous experience in inventory management is an added advantage.
