Investigation Officer at Brookside Africa Limited

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop investigation/work plans for the cases allocated.
• Undertake investigations on allegations of fraud or misappropriation of company property or any criminal activity.
• Carry out ad hoc investigations and reviews based on audit findings.
• Gathering and analyzing evidence and organizing it in statements, sets of records and facts.
• Gather information and produce intelligence reports to inform investigations.
• Ensure safe custody of all investigative records and evidence.
• Document all investigations in a concise, factual and timely manner.
• Support prosecution process in court by attending court sittings involving investigations handled.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Academic and Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• Training in fraud examination/investigations from a recognized institution or
• Professional qualifications - CPA(K)/CIA/CISA/ACCA
• Experience; At least 3 years audit experience in a commercial setting or professional audit firm
