Investment Officer, Financial Institutions, Africa at Incofin Investment Management (Incofin IM)

Your Role

As an FI Investment Officer, you will:

• Scout and secure investment opportunities that align with our fund criteria.
• Engage in negotiations, crafting term sheets with potential partners.
• Conduct in-depth due diligences focusing on both financial and impact-driven aspects.
• Develop and pitch compelling investment proposals to our Investment Committees.
• Monitor ongoing investments, comply with the reporting requirements and stay updated with market trends.
• Stay informed on the economic, financial, and political developments in your designated regions.

Your Profile

• We are on the lookout for candidates with an advanced degree in finance or economics and at least three (3) years of experience in inclusive finance. A passion for impactful work, a proactive approach, and a knack for achieving results are crucial. You should have strong analytical abilities, a hands-on attitude, and the resilience to thrive under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in French is a big plus. Familiarity with the African market contexts is crucial for success in this role. This role demands a high degree of flexibility and readiness to travel frequently (at least 30% of the time). Applicants should already possess a valid work permit for Kenya to be considered for this position.
