IT Manager at Africa Digital Media Institute (ADMI)

We are looking for a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing ADMI's technology strategy across a broad range of services. This is a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy professional with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who has experience in a startup or scale-up environment and is comfortable with being deeply involved in both planning and execution. The IT Manager will be directly involved in the day-to-day technical work, while also providing strategic leadership and aligning the department’s activities with company-wide goals.

• Leadership, Management, and Professional Development of team members
• Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Reporting
• Comprehensive IT Infrastructure Management
• Digital Transformation and Project Management
• IT Support for Internal and External Clients
• Policy Development, Compliance, and Data Security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CompTIA, Microsoft 365) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in IT management, with experience in digital transformation, network management, and systems administration. Preferred background in a tech company, startup, or scale-up environment
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
