IT Manager at Nexus Staffing Solutions

Overview:

• We are hiring an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead our client’s technology infrastructure and digital transformation journey. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people management to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT operations including networks, servers, cybersecurity, data management, and hardware/software assets.
• Collaborate with various departmental heads to assess and meet their technology needs.
• Lead the formulation and execution of IT strategies aligned with the company’s digital roadmap.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Manage third-party IT vendors and service providers.
• Champion automation initiatives and integrate digital tools across departments.
• Implement and maintain data security, compliance, and business continuity protocols.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing IT team, encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in IT management, ideally within fast-growing or multi-site organizations.
• Proven experience with infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity implementations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, cross-functional teams.
• Background in the energy, engineering, or manufacturing sectors (particularly in East Africa) is a plus.
