IT Operations & Procurement officer at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for IT hardware (laptops, servers, networking, storage), software, cloud services, and tech solutions.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, OEMs, distributors, and logistics partners to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, and contracts while ensuring full compliance with internal policies.
• Oversee inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability, track equipment distribution, and minimize excess inventory.
• Utilize ERP systems (Odoo) to maintain detailed procurement records, manage supplier databases, and drive process automation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Finance, and Project teams to align procurement with customer project timelines and operational requirements.
• Analyze supply chain performance data and prepare regular management reports to drive continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations within an IT-focused company.
• Strong technical understanding of IT hardware, networking gear, storage devices, and software solutions.
• Hands-on proficiency using ERP systems-preferably Odoo-for purchasing, inventory tracking, and operational reporting.
• Proven background negotiating contracts and managing strategic relationships with tech vendors, distributors, and manufacturers.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, contract administration, and process optimization skills.
