Junior Accountant at INUA AI

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
• Supporting accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the expenses and gathering appropriate approvals
• Updating financial records via accounting software
• Monitor and resolve bank issues and discrepancies
• Updating bank transactions in accounting software
• Prepare analysis of accounts requested
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheets accounts
• Monthly closing support, as needed
• Prepare journal entries
• Assist with year-end closings
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be experienced with Quickbooks
• Experience working with other ERP systems a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Technical proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles preferred; not required
• Able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables and deadlines
• Extremely detail oriented with exceptional analytical and accounting skills
• Must have strong working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, sorting, v-lookups)
• A demonstrated history of success in developing process and achieving project/task deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
