Junior Purchasing Officer at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Source and purchase spare parts for trucks and other fleet requirements.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers on availability, quality, pricing and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential spare parts.
• Verify delivered items against purchase orders and specifications.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and budgetary requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or certificate in Procurement, Purchasing and Supplies Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in purchasing or procurement will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of truck spare parts and automotive components is desirable.
• Good negotiation, communication and organizational skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic record-keeping.
• High attention to detail, integrity and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
