Laboratory Technologist I at Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA)

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:

• Conducting water pollution control activities;
• Preparing reports on water and waste water samples submitted to the laboratory;
• Undertaking microbiological examination of water;
• Storing laboratory specimens and equipment;
• Monitoring water quality and safety;
• Maintaining records and orders of supplies for chemicals, reagents, glassware, apparatus and consumable;

Person Specifications For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have: -

• Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) years of which should have been at the grade of Laboratory Technologist II or in a comparable position;
• Diploma in Applied Sciences or relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
