Land Reclamation Officer at The County Government of West Pokot

Requirements for Appointment to this grade,

A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Forestry; Hydrology; Geology; Economics, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science or Geography; Agriculture; Marine Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil engineering, Industrial Engineering, Water Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Disseminating appropriate technologies and innovations;
• Undertaking community mobilization and conducting training programmes;
• Assisting in the development of community action plans;
• Creating awareness through campaign and advocacy materials;
• Carrying out field surveys of projects; and
• Collecting, storage and dissemination of research findings

Terms of Service:

• 3 years Contract renewable subject to performance.
• Salary as prescribed by SRC.
