Background:
In South Sudan, LAW is working with national NGOs on access to justice for victims of gender-based violence, on transitional justice and on accountability for international crimes.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Programme Manager and support our field partners and community with donor reporting, research as well as building capacity in Hub offices. The work will be diverse and challenging.

Where: Nairobi or Juba preferred .You must have the legal right to work in the respective country
Duration: This is a full-time position for 12 months. Extension possible subject to funding

Role Overview and Responsibility:
The Legal Advisor will support the Programme Manager, the South Sudan team and the national partners to produce quality submissions, reports, and disseminate information to promote LAW's and the partners’ work. They will provide overall support with project implementation monitoring, advocacy and fundraising. The post holder will perform duties in accordance with the responsibilities outlined below:
About You:
Regional travel across East Africa of up to 30% will be required.
