Legal Intern
Nairobi, full-time, 3 month internship.

• Our work to respond to reports of emergencies, cruelty and abuse is at the heart of our mission. We receive thousands of calls for assistance every year, Each of these cases must be recorded, investigated and documented. Many of these cases are criminal. The process to investigate, report and prosecute criminal cases requires robust systems and attention to detail.
• We need an intern with a background in the law or a related skill set to help us set up and manage a case management system that will make it easier for the team to follow up on cases while other emergencies are demanding their attention.
• If you are interested, you must be able to show us that you are a well-organised person who can create and maintain case files. You will need to be aware of legal basics and pay close attention to detail. You'll be comfortable with paperwork and computer applications.
• In return, we offer a stipend to cover your expenses and a great opportunity to learn more about the work of the KSPCA and animal welfare law in Kenya.
