    Liaisons Officer

    Tasks and responsibility

    • Maintaining a database of all individuals and organizations that show interest to work with CHPF and NCMTC.
    • Keep abreast with activities that go on in all projects and programs implemented by CHPF and NCMTC.
    • Ensuring photographs and testimonials are documented for news, reporting and story writing.
    • Ensure CHPF and NCMTC develop new networks, in line with their vision and mission.
    • Send acknowledgement letters to all individuals and partners who engage us in various ways, to maintain a warm relationship with them.
    • In collaboration with the corporate communications office, write informative, educative and groundbreaking stories on what is happening in projects and programs being implemented by CHPF, NCMTC and their partners.
    • Maintain period communication with CHPF and NCMTC partners, through newsletters and general correspondence, where necessary
    • Reporting to the Inter-Project Team Meeting (IPTM) on all matters related to collaborationbetween CHPF, NCMTC and partners.
    • Maintaining the news and webpages for various projects / program.
    • Meeting with various team leaders to plan for project activities.

    • Management, organizational and leadership skills
    • Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively as a team member.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Good written and oral command of English and Swahili
    • Able to write, present and discuss management reports that support decision making.
    • Counselling skills
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Flexible & Reliable

    Required education and experience.

    • Minimum BSc degree level qualification in Corporate or Development communication.
    • At least five years’ experience in a corporate or project support communication. 
    • is an added advantage.

    • Experience in managing websites and writing on-line Experience with preparing and conducting training
