Maintenance Supervisor- True Group at Burhani Engineers Ltd

Job Description

• The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance work in respect to the company in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction and cost are effectively managed.

Key Duties/ Responsibilities

• Developing an annual maintenance plan and budget and present to the Property Manager for review and approval.
• Receiving and recording all requests for repairs/breakdown reports and put in place plan to address them.
• Planning, organizing, allocating and coordinating the work of the team & provide leadership to the team to ensure minimum time is used in attaining maximum returns.
• Raising purchase and stores requisitions for materials and equipment in accordance with the policy regulations.
• Enforcing safety rules and company policies in order to curb against accidents that could occur in the line of duty.
• Maintaining up-to-date records of installation, equipment and appliances to aid the maintenance planning process
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports as needed.
• Training and coaching maintenance staff, maintaining staff discipline and solving staffs’ problems, escalating to the where necessary.
• Ensure fire doors are closed at all times.
• Where required, to be aware of how to turn lifts off in case of emergency.
•  To be aware of locations of dry riser inlets and break glass points and isolation points for power and water.
• To be aware of who to contact for assistance with electrical, plumbing or lift emergencies.
• To be fully conversant with the company’s fire and emergency procedures including personal emergency evacuation plan for disabled students (where appropriate).
• Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time and/or carried out currently but not included in this document

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications:

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance or any relevant field.
• Reliability
• Attention to details.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and systems and regulatory requirements
• Outstanding problem solving skills
• Organization skills
• Preferably some technical skills (electrical, plumbing, general repairs)
• 5 years’ experience
• Ms Office Computer Skills
