Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills):
Academic Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in any of the following fields - Business Administration, Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Logistics or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• First level university degree in any of the following disciplines from an accredited University/College Procurement and Supplies Management, Procurement and Logistics, Commerce, Business 
• Administration (Supplies Management Option), Economics or other relevant and equivalent qualifications combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies:

• Professional qualification/certification in relevant field; preferably Transport and Logistics
• Membership to a professional body either KISM.
• Certified Supplies Practitioner by KISM or CIPS or both.
• Undertaken Management/Leadership Course from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in computer applications.

Previous relevant work experience required:

• At least ten (10) years’ working experience three (3) years of which should be in a managerial position.
• Experience in global logistics, customs and transportation of maritime goods is desirable.International experience in similar role will be an added advantage
