Manager – Project Management at Geothermal Development Company (GDC)

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities of a manager will entail:

• Aligning departmental strategic goals and objectives with the company’s strategic goals and objectives and ensure implementation for achievement of the company’s mandate.
• Coordination of project activities (Internal Coordination).
• External coordination (Liaison role and reports to external parties such as financiers, sectoral ministries, project contractors/consultants).
• Project Monitoring and Evaluation
• Enforcing systems and standards, policies, and procedures that will ensure the delivery of the training function and consultancies to clients in the region.
• Development of project execution schedule and timelines.
• Contracts Management
• Preparation and Maintenance of project information, manuals, and records.
• Setting departmental performance targets and work plans in line with the department’s performance targets and ensuring their achievement.
• Development and monitoring of the department’s annual budget and procurement plan and monitor for
