Key Responsibilities:

1. Import Performance
2. Ensures import volume and revenue are being delivered.
3. Drives corrective actions with Areas as needed to address volume and revenue shortfall
4. Drives the performance management process through a model ship: follows up on portfolio performance (Double-down, tenders), market share development, rate index development, compliance
5. Product Development and Strategy
6. Provides input on market growth, trends and intelligence to inform trade strategy .
7. Provides input on product development and features (network reviews, new products)
8. Translate overall trade direction setting into Area direction
9. Input on tender season planning
10. Provide input and guidance on pricing and contracting
11. Logistics & Service development for key customer segments/verticals
12. Provides input on strategy
13. Benchmark our services vs competitor services

Who we are looking for:

1. 3-5 years of experience within import market (shipping/Logistics)
2. Competitor knowledge 
3. Strong stakeholder management, influence without authority and conflict resolution
4. Managing / collaborating with potentially virtual and diverse / global  teams
5. Effective communication skills
6. Performance management and reporting
7. Good trade and revenue acumen
8. Analytical skills
9. Strategic mindset
10. Resilience, able to persist and adapt despite challenges
