Market Research Project Officer at BURN

About the role

Burn is looking for a Market Research Project Officer who will be involved in managing active research projects, focusing on producing regular deliverables, interpreting analyses, and using analysis software.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily project workload, adhering to SOPs, and supporting the manager in generating insights.
• Project management - ensure high-quality stakeholder service, cost efficiency, and timely completion.
• Project operations - data handling and logistics, and managing data collection teams by handling contracts, payments, and duty fulfilment.
• Documenting contracts and payout plans.
• Assisting in project setup with tool translations, route planning, and sample area selection.
• Preparing cost estimates and budgets, managing funds for field operations, and conducting reconciliations.
• Data analysis, insight generation, and report writing to conclusively meet study objectives.

Skills and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related course
• Proven experience in managing multiple tasks and coordinating research activities, including survey design, data collection methods, preparing project budgets, and analysis.
• Proficiency in analysis software and data management tools, with strong command of MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and familiarity with project management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, team-oriented and problem-solving skills.
