Marketing and Reservation Systems Coordinator at Summit Recruitment and Search

The successful candidate will act as the department’s systems and data specialist, ensuring the effective administration, optimisation, and development of the reservation system and associated marketing platforms, while maintaining the integrity of all guest and trade data together with supporting the Sales, Marketing and Reservations teams’ core responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Platforms Management – Maintain and update WeTu, SafariPortal, Virtuoso and other tourism/trade platforms, ensuring content, imagery and information remain current and consistent.
• Social Media & Content Support – Support management of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other channels, including creating and coordinating posts, reels and digital content.
• Marketing Collateral & Communications – Assist with the creation and updating of tourism, trade and guest-facing marketing materials, presentations and communications.
• Marketing Research & Event Support – Conduct research to support marketing initiatives, including event and venue scouting, invitations, trade activities and promotional campaigns.
• Digital Asset Management – Maintain and organise photography, video, copy and other marketing assets through Dash and related content management platforms.
• CRM & Database Management – Maintain accurate guest, trade partner and contact databases, providing data extracts and reports to support targeted marketing and communications.
• Reservations Systems & Digital Integration – Act as the Super User, maintaining accurate system data and ensuring guest, trade and operational information supports both reservations and marketing activities.
• Guest, Trade & Reservations Support – Support guest documentation, itinerary information and reservations administration, while liaising with tour operators, travel agents and other trade partners.

Key Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office; experience with reservations/CRM systems preferred.
• Experience in social media management and digital marketing, with creative design/content creation skills an advantage.
• Strong administrative, database management and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce professional guest and marketing communications.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, with experience dealing with international guests, tour operators and travel agents.
• Highly organised, adaptable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism; must be based in Nanyuki or Nairobi.
