We are looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
Plan maintenance works required, prioritize the urgent works and provision of time frames and the necessary resources needed to execute the works identified. (Spares and tools)
Ensure all equipment availability and performance.
Ensure timely availability of utilities needed for production and laboratory processes.
Evaluation of proposed solutions for various problems or works and determine their worth or impact on the overall production and quality.
Plan and ensure proper maintenance of equipment in production, laboratories and utilities and maintenance of the entire facility (Building maintenance) Internal and external service contracts.
Monitor proper operation of utilities. (HVAC system, Purified and waste water plants, Boiler/compressor/dust control and cooling units)
Ensure day to day monitoring of the performance and requirements for the maintenance Coordination and implementation of projects aimed at enhancing production or process flow. (Contractor supervision).
Ensure availability of necessary equipment documentation. (Manuals and operating instructions) as per URS
Ensure proper Installation, qualification and calibration of equipment and utilities. (Proper documentation)
Ensure compliance to GMP, GEP, EHS & OSHAS regulations and requirements and report to manager any deviations.
Ensure proper monitoring of power and fuel consumption vs, production.
Ensure proper preparation of operational procedures and maintenance work instructions.
Assess training needs for personnel and give necessary training as required.
Preparation and control of department budget and expenditures
Follow UP on CAPA to ensure implementation.
Ensure statutory compliance of various requirements on equipment. (Government inspections).
Coordinate with procurement department in acquisition of items required for maintenance
Ensure proper implementation of security system requirement in the facility.
Prepares reports analyzes data and makes recommendation of improving plant operations and solving manufacturing/packaging-related problems.
Inspire and foster team commitment, develop the ability of the team and manage performance to deliver exceptional level of organization objectives and goals.
To perform any other duty as assigned to them in line with the organization goals and objective.
Requirements.
Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, Poromechanical or similar)
Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (MATLAB, Excel, LabView etc)
Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
Creativity and analytical skills
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
