Medical Engineering Technologist[1] - AN- Scale -KMTC 9 - 5 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)

Duties at this level will include: planning, organizing repairs and maintenance of medical equipment; Managing medical engineering services; supervising, training and developing staff and students on attachment in the workshop; Ordering of spare parts and consumables;  calibration of equipment;  Preparing maintenance budgets, organization and planning of purchase of medical equipment/spare parts; Providing advice on technical aspects of medical equipment; and initiating maintenance and repair of equipment. 

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

•  Diploma in Medical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; 
•  Been registered with the Association of Medical Engineers; and
• Proficiency in computer applications.
