Medical Research Officers at Med-Lab Diagnostics Center

Med-Lab Diagnostic Center is committed to discovering new diseases detecting methods. We continuously seek to conduct thorough research on different ailments and put in place methods of testing them. We are looking for committed individuals to accomplish these assignments.

 Duties and responsibilities

• Sample collection and processing
• Assist in running of laboratory assays for the project Lab Results processing and reporting
• Field Data collection and management
• Assist in other tasks to support the project as required. Provide administrative assistance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Biological sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Clinical Medicine, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Technology, Public Health, Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Applied Sciences from a recognized institution
• A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• Valid License from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians Technologist Board. (KMLTTB)
• Proficiency with molecular laboratory equipment with recent attachment in a parasitology/molecular biology laboratory;
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques; DNA extraction, PCR and Qpcr;
• Knowledgeable in Sequencing and Sequencing data analysis; Accuracy and close attention to detail; and
• Strong analytical and organization skills.
